This custom house is designed to be built in the north of Iran. While the builder wanted the maximum building coverage ratio based on the rules, environmental and humane factors led the design process.
The immediate proximity of the house to other neighbors required incorporating privacy in the creation of the form and spaces. Furthermore, a stream running right next to one of the edges of the property required a support wall and reinforcement. The divided parts and differences in height were meant to make the building more comprehensive and humane while a person is standing and walking very next to it. The curved roofing is aligned with the properties of an inexpensive, available material and bending tools. Specific roofing, coupled with the sectional design of the building, provided an inward focus on the building. While protecting the view from other neighbors allows users to make the most of the primary natural scenery in the balcony and other windows that overlook the reed and the sea.
