This design proposal’s use as a bachelor’s thesis, and as the final design is a research center of climate studies. Throughout the theoretical part of the thesis, sustainable architecture was incorporated, and the concept of climate change and necessary measures in designing sustainable and green buildings. Another concept which affected the main idea of forming the design was erratic and chaotic patterns of weather.  Keywords that research can be summarized in are weather and climate patterns, chaos theory, fractal patterns, sustainability.

In the research phase, standards and yardstick measuring the level of sustainability of buildings in different parts of the world, for instance, LEED, BRIEM, PEARL, were reviewed; then, they were adopted for this design. Green roofs, thermal walls, and inner yard are some manifestations of these adaptations. In choosing materials also, some factors were regarded, such as thermal capacity, seamlessness, and other measures to control heat loss. The concept of the form, as a significant factor in this design, was inspired by the concept of designing with NURBS, which represents the uncertainty and unpredictability of the climate notion.
